Investing in Indiana

2024 has been a transformative year for Comcast, as we continue strengthening communities through cutting-edge fiber technology. This year, our expanded network brought fast, reliable Internet to more homes and businesses in Indiana than ever before, helping to connect people and power economic growth. 

Connecting Communities with Purpose 

Working closely with local governments and employing nearly 1,200 area workers and hundreds of local contractors, we expanded our network to provide 99.9% reliable high-speed Internet to new homes and businesses across our footprint. From enabling seamless online learning and telehealth services to supporting small businesses and remote work, our efforts fuel economic growth and digital inclusion. In 2024, we: 

• Announced plans to expand in seven communities in Indiana, including Boone County, Morgan County, Shelby County, Miami County, Delaware County, Fayette County, and Rush County.  

• Signed agreements for a joint $55 million investment to support unserved and underserved areas in Indiana, in partnership with local governments, the Indiana Broadband Office, and the Indiana Office of Rural & Community Affairs.

Innovating for Extraordinary Experiences 

From launching the NOW services, which offer affordable pre-paid, no-contract service lines, to introducing WiFi Boost for our mobile customers, we prioritized accessible, customizable services. Milestones like the Olympic Games Paris 2024 brought moments of unity and joy, showcasing our commitment to creating engaging customer experiences. 

• Xfinity Mobile and Comcast Business Mobile continue to offer some of the lowest prices with the broadest coverage around the state. 

• We launched Xfinity StreamSaver, a streaming bundle of Peacock, Netflix, and Apple TV+ that delivers savings of over 30% a year.  

Empowering Local Businesses  

From home entrepreneurs to enterprise-wide support, Comcast Business offers a suite of connectivity solutions to help organizations of all sizes achieve their goals. With cutting-edge cybersecurity, 99.9% network reliability, and initiatives extending beyond connectivity, Comcast Business supports businesses in communities across Indiana.

Comcast Business also supports the communities in which we live and serve. In 2024, Comcast Business: 

• Partnered with seven small businesses in Indiana to sponsor Comcast-hosted events for the community to enjoy. 

• Hosted 20+ chamber of commerce events for Indiana business owners to network and learn about best practices, including cybersecurity and mentorship. 

• Supported local communities with more than $75,000 in donations and event sponsorships. 

Bridging the Digital Divide 

Investing in Hoosiers is more than network advancement; it is about moving the needle on digital inclusion through Project UP, our $1 billion commitment to advance digital equity. 

• Operated 18 Lift Zones across the state, offering free, secure WiFi hotspots at nearby community centers. To find a Lift Zone near you, click here. 

• Supported community organizations with more than $292,000 in grants to support digital literacy and digital skills training programs. 

• Donated hundreds of laptops to students, families and organizations.

Also giving back to our communities, Team UP, the company’s always-on volunteer program, includes employees from across Indiana sharing experiences and serving non-profits and community organizations. In 2024, Team UP volunteers in Indiana packed meals for Gleaners Food Bank, conducted a site cleanup at Helping Veterans And Families (HVAF) in Indianapolis, held a pet supplies drive benefiting The Animal Protection League in Anderson, and distributed wreaths as part of the Wreaths Across America initiative.
