Between classes and studying, it’s great to have a chance to take a mental break. I watch the Food Network and dream about the delicious items that unfortunately aren’t included in a campus meal plan, and then tune in for American Ninja Warrior to cheer on my favorite athletes. The best part? All of this is free (a word I know my fellow students love) with XFINITY On Campus.
The service is included as part of my dorm fee, and it was easy to sign-up – I just logged onto the XFINITY On Campus site with my student credentials. XFINITY On Campus also comes with DVR capabilities, allowing me to catch my favorite shows when it’s convenient for me. In fact, with the XFINITY On Campus DVR you can record up to two shows at once, and take advantage of 20 hours of recording storage (which is lot of “Chopped” episodes). With my crazy class schedule, DVR lets me binge-watch my favorite shows on a Sunday afternoon.
I always take advantage of XFINITY On Campus when I have a bit of downtime between classes. A premium feature I added was HBO GO on my smartphone. With the HBO GO app., I can watch my shows outside of the dorm or even when I’m offline. XFINITY On Campus has more than just reality TV, it offers a good mixture of movies and shows in every genre, so you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy. Also, if you’re like me and you want to stay updated on what’s going on outside of campus, you can do just that with the collection of news stations offered. It’s a great way to keep up with current events.
XFINITY On Campus is the must-have item your move-in list was missing. Luckily, it’s not too late to take a break from the everyday stressors of college, and enjoy a few of your favorite shows. I highly recommend doing a little research and checking to see if your university offers XFINITY On Campus. Visit here to find out.
